ITC and CICIR Discuss Enhancing China-Pakistan Trade Relations

Dr. Azam Chaudhry, World Trade Organization Chair for Pakistan, Innovation and Technology Center (ITC) co-Head & Lahore School of Economics Dean of Economics, met w/ Dr. Wang Shida of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR), to discuss how to enhance China-Pakistan trade & economic relations.

Dr. Chaudhry discussed how to enhance Pakistan's export capabilities, observing that in the future exports could focus on areas where Pakistan has competitive advantages e.g. light engineering (automative parts, fans etc) among other industries.
